【Background】 Pre-Event of the 26th Sanriku, Ofunato Camellia Festival 【Festival Details】 Location:　　The World's Camellia Museum, Goishi Address:　　280-1 Oohama, Massaki-cho, Ofunato-shi, Iwate-ken 022-0101 Time:　　9:00am - 5:00pm (Event related booths will start to close from 2:00pm) Date:　　January 22nd, 2023 (Sunday) 【EVENTS (performances/workshops/activities)】 A.　GREETINGS BY OFUNA-TON & CAMELLIA DAUGHTERS 　- Be greeted by Ofuna-ton and the Camellia Daughters at the entrance! B.　PHOTOSPOTS FOR THE BEST PICS! 　- Several photospots will be setup within the museum for the best pictures! C.　CAMELLIA FLAVORED SWEETS GIVEAWAY 　- A local camellia flavored sweets and tea will be given to those who come and visit! D.　BUSINESS BOOTHS 　- Products such as camellia tea, camellia oil, camelia shampoo, etc. will be sold! E.　CAMELLIA CREPE SHOP 　- A unique camellia shaped crepe! Not only does is it taste amazing, it looks great too! F.　CAMELLIA OIL EXTRACTION & MASSAGE CORNER 　- Learn how Camellia oils are extracted and experience a relaxing massage using the oil that was extracted! G.　CAMELLIA SEEDLINGS BOOTH 　- Camellia Seedlings to plant in your front/back yard! H.　FIND OFUNA-TON 　- The throughout the museum, small-sized Ofunaton (city mascot) are hidden. 　- Find them and win prizes! I.　POPULAR CAMELLIA INTRODUCTION/SURVEY 　- Signs introducing each camellia will be placed throughout the museum. 　- Fill out the survey to vote for the camellia you liked most! 　- After the festival has ended, 4 surveys will be pulled for a chance to win prizes! *Camellia Museum Guide, Rental Costumes for Kids, Find Ofuna-ton SUPER, Group Planting Activity, and Beginner Camera Class will not be held during the Pre-Event.
