ABOUT

Came to Ofunato mid-September of 2021 as the Coordinator for International Relations ("CIR") through the JET Program.

​

Currently works in the City Hall of Ofunato, Iwate prefecture to assist incoming foreign tourists as well as foreign residents in both language and cultural exchange.

He also works to help support local residents be accustomed to foreign language and culture through various media in both Japanese and English.

Born on March 23, 1992 in New York, and graduated SUNY Stony Brook in 2014 with a bachelor of Mathematics.

"My main goal in creating this site is to help foreign residents as well as foreign travelers find local events, local information, tour spots, local restuarants, etc. more easily. Although a lot of these information are already publicly available in Japanese, very few are available in English."
