Some of the major spots you can visit during your stay in Ofunato!! Covering ispots which include things from the cliche tourist spots to niche places where you may not really hear about!!
Introducing some of the major festivals held here in Ofunato City! If you are planning to visit Ofunato, I highly recommend coming when there is a festival to further enjoy your stay!!
All the restaurants here are great. But for those of us who still have difficulty reading Japanese, it can be a struggle to find a place to eat. As such, I've listed a few places which I've personally helped create an English Menu! The list also includes restaurants which provide menus with many pictures as well!!
The Michinoku Coastal Trail, which stretches along the coastline/moutains for over thousands of kilometers is one of the major attractions in the Tohoku Region. But not only this trail, but there are a few other hiking spots that you might also enjoy, so feel free to check it out!!
So what exactly is Ofunato named for?
Honestly speaking, many things!! Actually, there's too many that its hard to write in a small passage like this so I've made a special page for it!!
