HIKING

There are many hiking trails in Japan  let alone in the Tohoku Region. The one trail I want to recommend is the Kobe Cape Lighthouse Hiking Trail which has you experience the mountain along with the coastline view!

This trail is part of the Michinoku Coastal Trail which ties Ofunato City and Kamaishi City together.

This can be challenging, hence advised for experienced hikers as it may take more than 6 hours to complete.

But the scenery is beyond great and the trail is definetly rewarding!!

 A great spot for those who like hiking up mountains. A fairly easy trail with a large parking lot at the beginning of the trail.

 Although a car may be necessary to get here, hiking up this mountain during the Azalea Season is definitely highly recommended.
